Oh hai, personal life… long time no see

Time! Can someone just tell me what happened.

It’s like Christmas, New Years, and pretty much all of January actually disappeared. I don’t want to openly admit that because this is the sort of thing you hear 70 women saying to each other in the change room after aquafit.

But it did.

Work, work, writing, starting a side business on zero start up costs, and trying to stay young. That sums of that whirlwind I call the last 2 months.

I remember being 17 and standing huddled in the field of a local elementary school after dark, hands frozen, smoking cigarettes, and time just stood still.

Why is it our perception of time changes as we get older? And how do I get it back?

Stay warm my friends!

  1. I was thinking the same earlier today. Time flies and 2013 is nearly 1/12th over already! Sounds like you’re busy though rather than age so at least that’s a positive thing. :)

  2. I agree completely. At age 30 I have a completely different perspective on the issue of “time” than I did in my late teens/early twenties. I think about this time last year, and I’m like, um, wasn’t that yesterday? It’s crazy. I feel like each year that passes I never got done what I wanted to get done!
